Mmmm rubber - how I love thee!!

My love affair actually started about five years ago - before that it was just a crush... I loved black and shiny but had no idea how much better the latex looked and felt compared to the PVC that I had been wearing for many years.

I love it when a package from MEO arrives on my doorstep. The tags read "Are you hardcore enough?" I think so!!

Cold Steel - Sjambok

Cold Steel has a very nasty whip-like solution called a 'Sjambok'.

In Africa, the Sjambok (Sham-Bawk) is a cattle prod, a whip, a riding crop and a means of self-protection. Unlike most western style whips, the Sjambok is not plaited from thin leather thongs. Instead, it is carved whole out of very thick Hippopotamus hide. Its considerable reach, lightning speed and devastating impact have built it quite a reputation as a sure defense against deadly snakes. Church of Sinvention - The Original Sensory Deprivation Hood

This time it is the most beautiful piece - the Sensory Deprivation Hood...

I had two individuals try this hood out. It looks like it may work for breath control but my hard-core breath control player says that is a "no-go". It is certainly tight fitting though and the sensory deprivation addict that I tried the hood on loves it and says it is hard to catch your breath. Go figure!

This is yet another product that is very high quality. Made of soft, padded leather it fits the head snugly. It laces up the back of the head and cross-buckles in two places with the usual quality locking buckles that Sinvention uses. There is also a locking collar at the base of the hood so that your bratty subbie can't remove it until you say so!

My test subjects state that you should try with and without the straps tightened up. One did not like the added pressure on the eye sockets after the buckles were tightened and locked.

You are in a completely leather clad (oh the smell!), padded, floating space after the hood is put on. You must concentrate on keeping your breathing controlled as you are breathing through a small hole on the front of the hood through your mouth. You may want to have a hand-signal pre-negotiated as your subject will not be able to hear you. You will however be able to hear them through the breathing hole.

Both my test subjects thoroughly enjoyed the sensory deprivation experience with a big "thank-you Mistress" at the end.

PES - Stanley Junior - Arcrylic Anal/Vaginal Probe

First, PES brought us the Stanley anal/vaginal quad pole electrode. Not for the feint of heart - Stanley has pleased many people with his performance...

For those of us who are NOT size queens however - we were left out in the dark...

Then came Stanley Jr. to the rescue!

At 1 3/4" thick and 6" long - this gives the "average" user an alternative to the quad pole electrode.

4 poles gives the user lots of alternatives. As shown in the photo above you can attain a "push-pull" sensation by using two separate power boxes.

I only have the one power box (so far!) to work with at my house. With the quad pole electrode I highly recommend purchasing the umbilical cord pictured above. Talk about convenience! It keeps all the leads neat and tidy. PES also sent along the belt clip. Slip a 9-volt battery into the power box and put the belt clip on - now you have the portability to be experiencing a PES probe while doing completely mundane tasks such as laundry! Let's make housework as exciting as possible!

This electrode is very similar in feeling to the vaginal probe previously tested. Because there are 4 poles however - playing with the dials on the power box allows for much more variance in sensations. This probe is not as "mild" as the vaginal probe. Myself being the complete nerd that I am was fascinated by the fact that you can actually watch the vaginal muscles rhythmically contract when the probe is in use.

For the Dominant hand controlling the knobs on the power box - you will certainly be able to make them squirm. The higher you turn the knob - the more intense the feeling pleasure bordering on pain. The longer you leave them on a specific setting - the more they will get used to it and the higher you will be able to turn it up. Again I would suggest having all the knobs on the lowest setting when starting out - it can be a very "shocking" experience.

The entire PES line is designed to give stronger, more intense orgasms. This is very true of their products! For those of you who have been reluctant to try electro-stimulation you really should give it a go - I promise you will like it!

Not only is this paddle a thing of beauty but the quality of the machining is superb. It took some muscle behind the strokes, but it got through the latex and got the desired effect that I wanted which was some stretching and toe curling! The sound of this beauty against latex is very loud as well. I could feel the heat of the reddened flesh right through the latex.

They call this piece "The Stinger" and it comes by its name honestly. The handle again is beautifully machined and then attached to that is sixteen inches of solid rubber about a half inch thick. We tried this first on bare flesh and it is one nasty bitey bitch! It stings just as much through the latex but it was grabbing the rubber and we were actually concerned that it might split the latex.

And for the final piece...

Mirrored finish - literally smooth like glass. Made of aerospace aluminum. This would be a medium sized plug with the three stages. Heavy but not overly so... Height 5-1/2" Step 1 is 3-1/2" circumference Step 2 is 4-3/4" circumference Step 3 is 5-1/2" circumference Depth to the neck is 4-1/2". Beautiful!

Roddick Gear - For Your Medical Fetish

This set would not be recommended for beginners. My victim's eyes almost popped out of his head when I put the set into his hands to look at. These are VERY heavy. Nice for the fear factor laid out on your instrument cart if nothing else!

And just because I am all about safety; please never attempt to force a sound into the urethra you can very easily perforate that delicate urethral wall. Sounding is advanced play; make sure you have someone experienced that can teach you how to properly use them.

The boys have found a new use for a Molt Mouth Gag;

This was the favourite of the two for me. Again - really comfortable fit; the same snap out o-ring system. This is the two strap version of the Cherry Jag. It gives better access to the wearer AND it is compatible with the "Double up Cuff".

I am the proud owner of a 1923 Ritter Dental Station. It is one of the central pieces of my medically themed dungeon space; and strikes fear into most who walk through the door. Anyone who is fortunate enough to have a dental chair in their playspace knows how many points there are for tying off and the naughty roleplaying that can ensue!

I have many different kinds of gags hanging on my wall, but have been itching to get a hold of the two types of dental retractors to go with the chair. Here we have the Whitehead. (The gag pictured on the top)

My Dominant friend's eyes lit up when he saw me take these out of my flogger trunk! Both paddles are crafted from MDF; this makes them both sturdy and light.

The paddle on the left with the circles cut in it lets airflow through which makes for a seriously stingy sensation. My victim's bum cheeks were red and warm in no time at all! Whack them hard enough and you get the nice circular pattern left on the cheeks.

The second Suringa-K paddle is a little more unique and interesting. You have two sides to choose from. The flat side of course is normal paddle fare - good for warming up that arse and getting the nice glow going. The second side is textured with triangular ridges - more of a "thuddy" experience and great for a bit of sensation play.

The MDF will take a beating of its own and keep on giving! These paddles have just enough of a gloss finish on them to be easy to clean up and hang back on the wall.

I absolutely cannot stress enough - the quality of Sinvention is top-notch. All of her hand-crafted leather items have a lifetime warranty.

The smell of fresh leather is simply intoxicating and the first smell when unwrapping the items in the box. First out was the stunning Posture Collar with Rolled Edges.

This item is available in two sizes to cover neck sizes from 11 inches to 16.5 inches. This baby is constructed of the thick bridle leather and then lined and rolled with a soft leather to enhance the comfort of the wearer. Two locking posts in the back with two flat black keyed-alike padlocks to keep the collar snug.

In my haus, silicone based lube goes on my rubberwear and water based lube is used for TENS play or fire cupping. I could probably buy the stuff by the gallon.

This is our first product review for Sinvention. The Mother of Sinvention has sent us the Sinvention Original Padded Locking Fist Mitts.

These again were unveiled to my friends at C.O.P.E. and anyone else I could convince to try them on! They are very plush, padded and comfortable. As the website states, these are very high quality and carefully crafted. The hardware is heavy duty. The posts are lockable as pictured in the photo but the padlocks are not included. The Sinvention logo is stamped lovingly on the thick leather strap that holds it all together. I tried them on many sized hands - the larger hands are a little tight but they still can fit.

As soon as these were taken out of the box and put into my hands the creative wheels started turning... The way these mitts were designed they are multi-purpose for several different kinds of scening. They almost look like hooves so they would be perfect for the cold tile floors up north here in Canada! They are also suitably shaped for puppy play! My dungeon is largely medically themed and these are perfect for the psych patient.

One of the Dominants that got to look these over was worried about long scenes and the fact that having his subbie's hands balled up into a fist for a long time would cause circulation problems. His girl tried them on and found the mitt to be quite comfortably confining. They are warm and soft inside.

This piece by Vergenza is simply a work of art... A frighteningly beautiful work of art. It dwarfs the N-joy at eleven inches long and 1.75 inches thick. It is lovingly crafted of spun aircraft aluminum with a jewelry grade polish.

Sportsheets - Impressions Paddles

The wonderful folks at Sportsheets have wrangled up some paddles to be tested and reviewed at the House of the Silver Spider dungeon.

I am going to give two different reviews on these products. One for a monogamous couple and for a Pro dungeon or a Poly relationship.

Sportsheets sent me the "Bitch" and "Slut" versions.

These are very high quality, thick sturdy leather. The handle is engraved with the Sportsheet logo and the rivets are custom engraved with the sport sheet logo as well. These paddles are designed to leave the bright red imprint of the word or shape on the paddle on the arse of the spankee! Alternatively, you can also use the other side of the paddle to just smack their arse and get that nice, hot, healthy red glow.

In a situation where it is you and your only partner playing with these lovelies; they are wonderful to work with and can leave some wonderful souvenir impressions on their arse so they can look in the mirror and tell you were there. For the one partner, the leather would be easy to clean up and care for and most likely last forever.

For the Pro Domme/Poly couples... You may want to start nudging the folks at Sportsheets to see if they can make the same things out of rubber with a nice shiny red plastic insert.

When I saw the new line of OhMiBod, I was intrigued and looking forward to testing the toys out...

The Boditalk is compatible with a cellular phone. When the phone is in close range (3 feet) of the vibe, it sets it off - going through its various cycles until the end of the call.

The packaging looks like something that was designed for the Ipod. Brightly colored, feminine and minimalistic. A nice looking vibe but I was not impressed with the cheap plastic chromed end-cap. The cardboard instruction insert also had a typo. (come on people - use your spell check!)

The "Dead Batteries" are a nice touch as well - they are batteries that have a sleeves that picture pop-iconic art on them.

The vibe also comes with a bright pink velvet storage bad to store your toy cleanly and discreetly.

The harness was in my eager hands quite quickly. Arriving in a plain box, it comes with its own black velvet storage bag for those of you who like to be discreet.

When I was originally checking out the company - they have a few models to choose from; but two stood out from the rest - the Annie-O and the Syd. Since any of you that know me, know how much I simply ADORE cowgirls (insert sneer here); I chose the Syd as it was closer to my personality and it came in my color scheme.

The photos do not do the harness justice... The quality of the piece is amazing. the leather and the patent are thick and sturdy. One nickel-plated metal ring and one nitrile rubber ring are included. They have designed this harness to fit BBW as well with up to a 54" waist.

The harness design itself is unique... It can hold one single dildo, one double-ended or two singles, depending on your personal preference. The holes are cut in such a way where the dildos are angled to give the most pleasure.

Putting the piece through its paces; it stands up to abuse! My grrl really enjoyed the look, and the feel of it. I liked the options available. It's fairly easy to clean up. I'm looking forward to trying it again with a stainless dildo that is on its merry way here!
